This is the Refund Policy of CLATPREP, a venture of Career Pathmakers Pvt. Limited.
By signing of the registration form or subscribing or enrolling for any course offered by
ClatPrep, your acceptance is assumed to the Terms and Conditions published on
www.clatprepindia.com and terms of the Student Rule Book wherein Refund Policy is a
part of both. This acceptance represents the conclusion of a binding contract between
you and ClatPrep. For students below eighteen (18) years of age, it is to be understood
that the binding contract is concluded with ClatPrep by the parents or guardians of the
students on their behalf.
For the purpose of this Refund Policy, the term “website” refers to www.clatprepindia.com.
DEFINITIONS:
“Online Classroom Program” shall mean any program or course wherein live online
classes are conducted by ClatPrep and students take such classes in the same online
mode. It shall not include Test Series, Distance Learning Program or Short Term
Program.
“Offline Classroom Program” shall mean any program or course that is provided in an
offline or physical classroom setup.
“Distance Learning Program” shall mean a program or course wherein a student
registers and subscribes for pre-recorded classes and other material.
“Short Term Program” shall mean any course or program that is completed within 60
days.
“Material” shall mean any resources provided in either a digital format or a printed
format for the purposes of educational learning related to the courses offered.
APPLICABILITY:
Franchisee outlets of ClatPrep (“Franchisee”) may have a different Refund Policy. This
Privacy Policy is not applicable to any student enrolled at Franchisee for Offline
Classroom Program or Short Term Program. However, it is applicable to any student
who enrolls for Online Classroom Program or Distance Learning Program or Test Series,
even if he is enrolled as a student at Franchisee. Refund Policy for Offline Classroom
Program or Short Term Program is provided by the center wherein the respective
student is enrolled.
TERMS OF REFUND:
ONLINE CLASSROOM PROGRAM
A student can make a refund request and cancel his subscription to Online Classroom
Program subject to the terms, deductions and timeline mentioned below:
1. If a student raises a refund request on or before Seventh (7th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch, he will get a complete refund subject to
the deduction of GST and payment gateway charges, provided that he has not
requested and received any material from ClatPrep. ClatPrep does not issue
material to any of its students enrolled in the Online Classroom Program within
the first seven (7) days of commencement of the assigned batch. If a student
requests and receives any material within 7 days of commencement of the
assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the deduction of Material charges
of Rupees Six Thousand and Five Hundred (Rs. 6,500) and courier charges in
addition to the deduction of GST and payment gateway charges.
2. If a student raises a refund request on or before fifteenth (15th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch but after the seventh (7th) day of the
commencement of such assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the
deduction of Rupees Five Thousand (Rs. 5,000), GST, payment gateway charges,
Material charges of Rupees Six Thousand and Five Hundred (Rs.6,500), and
courier charges.
3. If a student raises a refund request on or before thirtieth (30th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch but after fifteenth (15th) day of the
commencement of such assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the
deduction of Rupees Fifteen Thousand (Rs. 15,000), GST, payment gateway
charges, Material charges of Rupees Six Thousand and Five Hundred (Rs.6,500),
and courier charges.
4. No refund will be made after the expiry of thirty (30) days under any
circumstances. Hence, a student shall not request any refund after the expiry of
thirty (30) days.
OFFLINE CLASSROOM PROGRAM
A student can make a refund request and cancel his subscription to Offline Classroom
Program subject to the terms, deductions and timeline mentioned below:
1. If a student raises a refund request on or before the seventh (7th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the
deduction of Rupees Five Thousand (Rs. 5,000), GST, payment gateway charges,
Material charges of Rupees Six Thousand and Five Hundred (Rs.6,500), and
courier charges.
2. If a student raises a refund request on or before fifteenth (15th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch but after the eighth (8th) day of the
commencement of such assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the
deduction of Rupees Fifteen Thousand (Rs. 15,000), GST, payment gateway
charges, Material charges of Rupees Six Thousand and Five Hundred (Rs.6,500),
and courier charges.
3. If a student raises a refund request on or before thirtieth (30th) day of the
commencement of the assigned batch but after fifteenth (15th) day of the
commencement of such assigned batch, he will get the refund subject to the
deduction of fifty percent (50%) of the fees, GST, and payment gateway charges.
4. No refund will be made after the expiry of thirty (30) days under any
circumstances. Hence, a student shall not request any refund after the expiry of
thirty (30) days.
TEST SERIES/ DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM/ SHORT TERM PROGRAM
1. No refund request will be entertained for Test Series or Distance Learning
Program or Short-Term Program under any circumstances. Hence, a student shall
not request any refund after registering into any of the above-mentioned
programs or courses.
2. For demo purposes of the Distance Learning Program, a student will be given a
few of the recordings of latest batches. Hence, a student shall enroll in a Distance
Learning Program only after watching the recordings and being completely
satisfied with the resources provided.
REFUND PROCESSES:
1. The refund amount shall be processed within 10 working days of the intimationof the refund.
2. The refund amount will be transferred via cheque only in the accounts of parents
or guardian of the student only. No refund amount will be given directly in cash
to parents or guardian of student.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION METHOD
1. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in relation to this Refund
Policy between you and ClatPrep shall be referred for amicable negotiation and settlement between the parties to be resolved within 30 days of the written
notice.
2. In case of non-resolution of any dispute or difference by negotiation, the same
shall be referred to the Arbitration mandatorily, in accordance with the Arbitration
and Conciliation Act, 1966 of India. The number of arbitrators shall be 1 (one)
and such arbitrator shall be appointed by the Director of ClatPrep.
3. The proceedings and the award of the arbitration shall be made in English. The
arbitration shall be conducted at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
4. The Courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall have the jurisdiction over the dispute
arising out of refund policy or for enforcement of the arbitral award.
